Fire reported at Disney’s Dolphin Hotel, Disney World guests share visual of smoke near EPCOT

Multiple visitors to the Buena Vista, Florida, hotel reported smoke coming from the Dolphin Hotel. The hotel is located in the EPCOT Resort Area, between EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

As of now, one fire Not confirmed yet. Visitors only share the visual effects of the smoke. As of now, Disney World, Floridahas yet to provide an update on what happened.

This video of smoke rising from the Dolphin Hotel on Thursday afternoon was shared on TikTok by a visitor.

One visitor wrote on the Reddit subreddit/WaltDisneyWorld that he saw a plume of smoke coming from “a building that looked like a dolphin tower.” The user wrote that the smoke “completely overwhelmed and seeped into the boardwalk and yacht club areas and was even lingering at the back entrance to Epcot.”

One user commented under the post that the incident appeared to be a fire in the HVAC unit.

“Lots of black smoke, no flames visible. The fire seemed to go out within 5 minutes and quickly turned to white and light gray smoke. It took fire crews nearly 15 minutes to respond,” the user wrote.
