A British man accused of conspiring to drug and rape his wife has admitted multiple sex offenses but continues to deny several other charges related to the case.The defendant, a man in his sixties from the Stockport area of Greater Manchester, appeared at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court and admitted raping and sexually assaulting his wife between 2022 and 2025. He also admitted sharing intimate photos and videos of her without her consent during the same period, the BBC reported.The court heard the man allegedly conspired with others to drug and rape his wife. While he admitted responsibility for certain crimes, he pleaded not guilty to multiple other charges he faced.The defendant was seen crying in the dock before the hearing began. Later, he spoke clearly and calmly as he made his request. His name has not been released because his wife, the alleged victim of a sex crime, is entitled to lifelong anonymity under British law. The case also involves 13 other men who have been charged. Twelve of them have pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.The trial will begin on September 1.
