Rainier Beer’s R-Day is returning to Seattle this fall, featuring live music, a beer garden benefiting local merchants and a new food truck garden.
SEATTLE — Rainier Beer’s annual R-Day celebration will return to Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood this fall with a full day of live music, beer gardens and community events.
The free music festival, hosted by Rainier Beer, kicks off on September 12 and will include performances by indie rock band DEHD, Seattle band Telehealth, Spokane psychedelic rock trio Kadabra and Seattle DJ and emcee Lace Cadence.
Organizers describe R-Day as a “letter of thanks” to Rainier fans and say the event will once again transform Georgetown into a center of music, clothing and community celebration.
Festival-goers will be able to purchase Rainier beers at several beer gardens throughout the event or visit local Georgetown pubs that are joining the festivities. Organizers say all proceeds from the beer garden will benefit the Georgetown Merchants Association. They also say drink prices will remain affordable without the traditional holiday surcharges.
The event will also bring back its free arcade attractions. In 2026, organizers will add a food truck garden.
R-Day was first introduced in 2013 with the return of the iconic red “R” logo atop the Rainier Brewery building. The celebration has since grown into an annual tradition, attracting thousands of attendees.
The festival is open only to guests 21 and older, and admission is free.
