U.S. Central Command (Centcom) called Iran’s attack on Kuwait a “serious violation of the ceasefire agreement.”Central Command said the incident occurred hours after Iranian forces launched five one-way attack drones near the Strait of Hormuz. According to the U.S. military, all five drones were intercepted, as was a sixth drone launched from a ground control station in Bandar Abbas Port.The U.S. military said its actions were “cautious, purely defensive, and designed to maintain the ceasefire.”Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Barkay condemned the U.S. attack, calling it a violation of the ceasefire agreement.
