A Cedar Point spokesperson told WTOL, “This guest has been banned from all Six Flags parks for life.” The spokesperson added: “Safety is a cornerstone of our business and we have a zero-tolerance approach to inappropriate and unsafe behavior.” Our ride safety policy strictly prohibits any loose items on rides, including food that may pose a choking hazard.” Ferrell later reacted to the penalty in an interview with Fox 8 Cleveland. “I had no idea that eating 10 chicken nuggets on a roller coaster was going to make national headlines, but here we are,” he said, also revealing that Cedar Point initially considered taking legal action, but the two sides eventually settled the matter. Ferrer said: “This will be the first time I’ve been suspended indefinitely for a challenge.“Despite the ban, he said he understands the park’s concerns. “They just don’t want other people to get hurt on the ride. But for me personally, it’s a really fun challenge,” he explained. The case has sparked debate online about the extent to which content creators should go to capture views and whether viral challenges are worth the risk.
