Authorities said the bus failed to slow down and crashed into six vehicles on I-95 overnight.

World American Association reports Virginia State Police said southbound traffic slowed as it approached the work zone, but the bus did not slow down and struck six vehicles in front of it.
All five people who died were inside vehicles struck by the bus, according to law enforcement.
The crash happened on southbound Interstate 95 at mile marker 146 around 2:30 a.m. ET Friday.
Of the 34 people taken to nearby hospitals, three were seriously injured, officials said.
Police have not revealed what caused the bus crash but said charges are pending.
