reality tv star Khloe Kardashian Opened up about the disappearance of Today show anchor’s 84-year-old mother Nancy Guthrie Savannah Guthriecalled the case “heartbreaking.”
according to US WeeklyKardashian said on her “Khloe in Wonderland” podcast on Wednesday, May 13, that she doesn’t believe any solid leads have come out of the case so far.
“Nancy Guthrie, I mean, isn’t that heartbreaking?” Kardashian said. “I don’t know. I just thought, it’s 2026. Nothing? That’s so exciting.”
Speaking alongside guest and “Crime Junkies” podcast host Ashley Flowers, Kardashian acknowledged her leanings toward conspiracy theories and mentioned early details from the case, including a ransom note that was reportedly sent to multiple media outlets. “How weird is that?” she said. “There’s so much, I just can’t understand, that 2026 is not, like you’re saying, I don’t believe it, there’s no information. They’re not telling us.”
Kardashian also addressed online speculation about Savannah’s brother-in-law, Tommaso Cione, saying, “I don’t know if I know enough about the case, but everything I read about the brother-in-law and stuff like that, I’m like, ‘Oops.'” However, police have completely cleared the entire Guthrie family, including Cione, because of all the rumors linking him to Nancy’s disappearance.
What happened to Nancy Guthrie?
Kardashian’s comments came just a day after Nancy’s neighbors marked 100 days since the 84-year-old was first reported missing on February 1 in Tucson, Arizona.
Earlier, the FBI released surveillance video showing a masked man outside her home on the night she disappeared. No suspects have since been identified. Some DNA evidence was also tested, but was of no help.
At present, there is no progress in the disappearance case and the investigation is still continuing.
Savannah’s Tribute
Meanwhile, Savannah Guthrie took a brief leave from the Today show before returning and posted a heartfelt tribute to her mother on Instagram to celebrate Mother’s Day on May 10. “We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you,” she wrote. “We need help. Someone knows something that can make a difference.”
Her husband, Michael Feldman, also shared an emotional post on Instagram on Sunday, calling Savannah “the strongest person.”
