
An alleged drunken driver was arrested after a serious crash in Lynwood that crashed into a parked vehicle and rolled over, according to authorities.
SNOHOMISH, Wash. — A suspected drunken driver is in custody after a rollover crash in Lynwood sparked a vehicle fire Sunday morning.
The incident was reported just after 6 a.m. in the 1500 block of North Lake Stickney Drive, where officers arrived to find a vehicle that had been consumed by flames. No one was found inside the vehicle.
Investigators said the vehicle was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed when it left the road, struck two cars parked in a private driveway, overturned and landed in a nearby yard.
Deputies later found the driver, who was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
