Two people were seriously injured in a Sammamish apartment fire and firefighters were assessing the damage after bringing the blaze under control, East Side Fire Rescue reported.
SAMAMISH, Wash. — Two people suffered life-threatening injuries in an apartment fire in Sammamish, according to Eastside Fire Rescue.
Crews responded to the two-alarm fire in the 3000 block of Southeast Lane 230 and found heavy fire inside an apartment unit. Firefighters rescued two people from the unit with life-threatening injuries.
Officials said the fire was contained to an apartment unit and has been extinguished.
Eastside Fire and Rescue said crews were continuing to assess the extent of the damage.
