LG Electronics India has expanded its home appliances product line-up for 2026 with a range of premium and affordable premium products aimed at expanding its reach across Indian homes. The move includes new French door refrigerators, AI washing machines, dishwashers and an expanded ‘Essential range’, reinforcing the company’s focus on local manufacturing and exports.

The latest product portfolio reflects LG’s dual strategy of bringing advanced, design-led appliances to high-end buyers while improving accessibility by offering products at competitive prices. The company also confirmed plans to export its Essential range to 22 countries in Asia, the Middle East and Africa by 2026.

Basic Series Expansion: Focus on Affordability

Positioned in the affordable premium segment, LG’s Essential series has expanded into major home appliance categories with increased capacity and features customized for Indian usage conditions.

In the refrigeration segment, the new sub-300L range (225L–276L) features features such as smart inverter compressors, convertible modes and inverter compatibility. Prices for Essential range refrigerators start at $25,500.

The washing machine line-up in this segment includes top-loading models (8kg to 10kg) starting at $20,900, while the AX semi-auto range (8kg–12kg) is priced at $17,300, targeted at budget-conscious families looking for durability.

LG has also added a convertible convection microwave with air fry capability for $28,700, and water purifiers with UV disinfection and stainless steel water tank starting at $16,600.

High-end refrigerators: larger capacity and smarter functions

In the high-end segment, LG has launched a new French door refrigerator series (574L–610L), starting at $118,000. The product line includes features such as InstaView Door-in-Door, AI ThinQ connectivity and a compact 33-inch width automatic ice maker.

The portfolio of side-by-side refrigerators (630L–790L) has also been expanded, with prices starting at $109,000, offering greater storage capacity and premium finish.

Washing Machine: Artificial Intelligence Powered Fabric Care

LG continues to strengthen its presence in the laundry space with artificial intelligence solutions. VX front load washing machines (12kg to 20kg) come with AI DD 2.0 technology starting at $62,900.

In the mid-range, the TX top load range (10kg–11kg) starts at $32,400, with hard water cleaning and durability-focused design, suitable for Indian conditions.

Dishwasher and sanitaryware

LG has also expanded its dishwasher portfolio with the launch of 15-position TrueSteam dishwashers priced at $73,500, designed to handle Indian cutlery and heavy grease.

In the field of hygiene, the brand’s upgraded water purifiers focus on safe storage and efficient water recycling, in line with consumers’ growing awareness of health and sustainability.

Commitment to ‘Make in India’

The company reiterated its ‘Make in India’ commitment with its manufacturing facilities supporting domestic demand and global exports. With the Essential series set to enter 22 international markets, LG aims to position India as a major production hub.

Starting today, the new series will be available in LG brand stores, retail stores and e-commerce platforms.
