“Mayor Rudy Giuliani is in the hospital in critical but stable condition,” spokesman Ted Goodman posted on Rudy Giuliani“.

No details were provided about why he was hospitalized or how long the 81-year-old was hospitalized.

News of Giuliani’s hospitalization comes two days after he hosted the online show “America’s Mayors Live” on Friday night in Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump’s reaction

In a statement posted to Truth Social, Trump called Giuliani a “real warrior” and praised his tenure as mayor.

“Our great Rudy Giuliani, a true warrior and by far the best mayor in the history of New York City, has been hospitalized in critical condition,” Trump wrote.

He added, “It’s such a tragedy that he was treated so poorly by the radical left crackpots, the Democrats – and he was right about everything! They cheated on the election, made up hundreds of stories, did everything they could to destroy our country, and now, look at Rudy. So sad!”

Brian Krassenstein’s big claim

Political commentator Brian Krasenstein responded on X, criticizing Trump’s remarks. He also claimed that Giuliani “is about to die.”

“Nothing better than Rudy Giuliani dying and Trump using it to promote his election lies. Deplorable scumbag,” he wrote.

Who is Rudy Giuliani?

Giuliani rose to prominence as a high-profile federal prosecutor before being elected mayor of New York City in 1993. His leadership was widely recognized after the September 11 attacks, earning him the nickname “America’s Mayor.”

He later ran for president in 2007 but dropped out in early 2008. Over time, he became a prominent political commentator and served as Trump’s personal attorney, playing a key role in efforts to challenge the results of the 2020 election won by Joe Biden.

Giuliani has faced health challenges in recent years. In September, he was hospitalized after a car accident in New Hampshire caused fractured vertebrae and other injuries.
