Sanjiv Goenka of Lucknow Supergiants and Priti Zeta Kings XI Punjab remain two of the most high-profile franchise owners in the IPL and are often spotted keeping a close eye on their team from the stands. Their latest appearance came on Sunday night at the PCA Stadium in Mullanpur when PBKS dominated LSG and both the bosses had a brief interaction with the players after the match. Over the years, Goenka has often been seen actively interacting with his team management and captaincy, including early discussions with KL Rahul and more recently Ritha PantAfter LSG’s defeat, they once again became the focus of attention. After losing by 54 runs, he was seen talking to Kings XI Punjab’s in-form batsman Priyansh Arya, who started the bowling attack with a staggering 93 runs off just 37 balls. Meanwhile, LSG captain Rishabh Pant participated in a separate conversation with PBKS co-owner Preity Zinta. He appeared in a small group that also included Yuzvendra Chahal and Shashank SinghAfter the game, they had a relaxed conversation with Zinta. On the field, Kings XI Punjab continued their strong start to the season with a stellar performance. They returned to the top of the table with their fifth win in six games. Priyansh Arya’s explosive innings set the tone, Cooper Connolly provided valuable support and late contributions from Shashank Singh and Marcus Stoinis pushed PBKS’ total to 254. LSG, by contrast, has no answer for the target. They struggled with rhythm and consistency this season, culminating in a three-game losing streak. The 54-point defeat highlighted their ongoing issues and the team now needs to turn things around quickly to halt the slide and rebuild momentum.
