Former Trump communications director Anthony Scaramucci said JD Vance Lacks the “energy” of Donald Trump and questions the Vice President’s ability to unite the MAGA movement after Trump.
Can US Vice President Vance become the political heir to the President? Donald Trump And lead the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement after him? Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci doesn’t think so.
Scaramucci said in an interview with British broadcaster LBC that although Vance is one of the most famous figures in the Republican Party, he lacks the key qualities that have helped Trump dominate American politics for many years.
‘No Trump style’
According to “Mirror America”, Scaramucci said that once Trump’s political career is over, he does not believe that any current Republican leaders, including Vance, can keep Trump’s political coalition together.
“I don’t think there’s any political leader in this political space who can inspire and unite that. [MAGA] The league … includes J.D. Vance,” Scaramucci said.
In explaining why, he pointed to what he called Trump’s unique charisma.
“He doesn’t have Trump’s hair. He doesn’t have Trump’s hair. You can like Trump or not like Trump, but he can go on and he can capture your imagination,” Scaramucci said.
The word “rizz” is popular among people Generation Zusually refers to a person’s charm or ability to attract others. In the case of Trump, Scaramucci used it to describe the president’s ability to inspire supporters and unite them behind the MAGA movement.
Scaramucci, who briefly served as communications director during Trump’s first term before becoming one of his most vocal critics, also took aim at the president’s motives.
“Trump is out to make money and get attention. He’s not out to serve the American public, he’s out to serve himself and enrich his family, and that’s what it’s about,” he said.
What does Scaramucci say about Trump’s future?
Scaramucci also dismissed speculation that Trump might seek a third term, despite repeated public comments from the president that have stoked controversy. The 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution prohibits a president from serving more than two consecutive terms.
According to the US “Mirror” report, Scaramucci believes that Trump’s age will be the biggest obstacle.
“I don’t think so. I think the tip of the spear is his age. I don’t think 82-year-old Donald Trump can run again,” he said.
He further said that if Trump tries to be re-elected, Republicans themselves will fight back.
“If he’s going to push this, I think that’s when his own party will really pull out the knife, because, you know, anyone who is elected as the dog catcher of America sees themselves as the 48th president of the United States,” Scaramucci said.
Why does Scaramucci think Trump might lose influence?
Scaramucci also believes a new generation of ambitious Republicans is waiting for an opportunity to arise.
“There are a lot of young people in the party who are ambitious. I think he will be weakened after the midterm elections,” he said.
His comments come as discussions continue about who could ultimately lead the Republican Party after Trump.
