A woman named Sammie Lee claimed on Facebook that two Karmelo Anthony supporters attacked her for no apparent reason at a bar in Longview, Texas. The Longview Police Department is investigating the alleged assault and a person has been arrested in connection with the incident at the Whiskey J Bar, the Longview News Journal reported.

Officer LaDarian Brown said at a news conference Wednesday, June 24, that the investigation is ongoing. Mayor Kristen Ishihara and other city leaders are also involved in the investigation.
Lee posted on Facebook that the attack left her with “a bruised eye” and “nails in her head.”

According to Lee’s Facebook profile, she is from Wichita Falls, Texas, and attended Wichita Falls High School and Tyler Junior College.
She shared several photos on Facebook showing injuries to her face and head and blood on her clothes.
She wrote, “I never thought I would post something like this, but I have no choice. This is so tragic, like what happened in real life. My best friend and I went drinking tonight in Longview, Texas. Everything was fine. We had absolutely no issues at the bar. When the night was over and we were walking back to the car to go home, I was startled by a bunch of random girls. I had never said a word to these girls, never looked at them, didn’t know them at all. I moved away from my hometown to go to East Texas and I’m a college student!!!!!!”

Lee added, “They jumped up and yelled ‘Free Carmelo’… said they were going to target the smallest white girl they could find. This case had absolutely nothing to do with me. Black eye, nails in my head! I was bleeding from the back of my head and face. Totally caught me off guard. This shit is not good!!!!!! And bit**** is going to jail!!!!!! The world is a mess, what did you do? Get out of this?!!!!!! People who know me definitely know I don’t deserve this.”
