Who is Frank Caron?

Frank Carone brooklyn Power broker, widely considered one of the architects of Eric Adams’ political rise. He played a key role in Adams’ 2021 mayoral campaign and served as Adams’ chief of staff in 2022. In 2023, he established a political consulting company.

He also served as a lawyer for the Brooklyn Democratic Party, according to the Associated Press.

5 things you need to know about him:

  1. Frank Caron is best known to the public in connection with a controversy in which a Brooklyn pastor lost his job in part for having pop star Sabrina Carpenter film a provocative music video inside his church, the Associated Press reported.
  2. His church was later subpoenaed by federal investigators who wanted information about business dealings between Carone and the priest who approved the video, Jamie Gigantiello.
  3. According to WPIX, between 2019 and 2021, Jamie transferred $1.9 million in parish funds to a bank account linked to Carone.
  4. Carone’s law firm later repaid $1 million of that amount plus about 9 percent interest, according to Brennan.
  5. He was also investigated in 2024 for possible dealings with the same pastor at a Williamsburg church in Brooklyn.
