Far-right political activist Laura Loomer has defended U.S. second lady Usha Vance, arguing that hate directed at her is due to her Indian heritage and Hindu beliefs.Loomer’s remarks followed a video of CBS’ recent interviews with Usha Vance and U.S. Vice President JD Vance.In the interview, Usha Vance talked about her religious background and explained why she did not follow the path of her husband and convert to Christianity, Catholicism.“I grew up in a very stable Hindu family. I didn’t have the need to seek something different like he (J.D. Vance) did,” said American Usha Vance of her religious faith and her husband’s conversion to Catholicism.Loomer praised Usha Vance for standing up for her beliefs despite criticism from some conservatives, including podcaster Tucker Caslon.Loomer wrote in a lengthy post onLoomer said that no matter what Usha says or does, she will never be accepted by some MAGA figures: “Groipel and Tucker Carlson will try to abuse her in 2028 because she is a brown Hindu woman despite her many accomplishments. They will pretend that she is not American enough and her husband thinks he can keep these parasites out with good intentions. ‘Tolerance’ of these parasites will not make them vote for JD.” Vance, because deep down, Tucker’s audience is racial supremacists, professional extortionists, violent Jew-haters, and America-hating Islamist sympathizers.“Loomer added that Usha should never convert: “I hope Sloters never converts because I know how much it hits the losers of the Awakened Empire, and she doesn’t have to do anything for these weaklings.”One X user asked Loomer: “Have you ever met an Indian?”In response to the question, Loomer mentioned a recent visit to India and spoke positively about her experience.Loomer said: “Yes, I just spent two weeks in India and the Indians are some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. They are so kind and generous and I would receive 100 Hindus every day instead of 10 Muslims.”Loomer has previously attacked immigrants and Indian workers in the United States. The conservative activist had earlier criticized H-1B visa holders, claiming Indians were taking American jobs. Now, her stance on the Indian-American diaspora and India in general has changed.
