Instagram is unavailable for thousands of users across the United States. According to DownDetector, reports of issues started popping up around 5:15 pm ET on Tuesday, with most users experiencing app and feed loading issues.
As of 5:45 PM ET, DownDetector has logged more than 10,000 outage reports. Some users also reported problems accessing Facebook.
Meta has yet to comment or confirm the reported outage.
