CEO of Turning Point USA Erica Kirk She has faced criticism after allegations that the organization used an AI-generated video of her husband, Charlie Kirk, who was killed in a fatal shooting last September to support her as the new CEO of TPUSA.
Charlie Kirk founded TPUSA in 2012 and serves as the organization’s CEO. A week after he was killed in a fatal shooting Utah Valley College announced on September 10 that Erika Kirk was announced as the organization’s new CEO on September 18.
A video of Charlie Kirk endorsing Erica as the new CEO if anything happens to her went viral on social media, purportedly posted by TPUSA. At the time, the video was widely believed to be genuine and captured Charlie actually supporting Erika Kirk as the new TPUSA CEO.
However, a new report claims that the video was created by artificial intelligence and that the actual video of Kirk supporting Erica does not exist.
New allegations about video
The new accusations emerged on the popular center-left podcast I’ve Got It. Hosts Jennifer Welch and Angie “Pump” Sullivan claim TPUSA has admitted to using artificial intelligence to create a video of Charlie Kirk supporting Erica. They cited X’s post on the Discourse News account, which stated that TPUSA admitted to using artificial intelligence-generated videos.
“Everything in the MAGA movement is based on lies and appearances. Even they have to pretend to support it,” Welch said.

Report claims TPUSA chapter creation was fake
The two also claimed on the podcast that TPUSA fabricated the number of chapters they created last year, according to a report by Un*** America Tour, a group that claims to “build a Democratic Party to counter TPUSA.”
The organization cited a former TPUSA field representative who said she was given responsibility for 12 chapters, seven of which were allegedly false. The host replayed a video from influencer and author Ashley St. Clair on the I’ve Had It podcast, in which she also mentioned coverage of the Unf*** America Tour. TPUSA’s website says it has more than 900 chapters on campuses across the United States.
