84-year-old Today host mother Guthrie Savannah GuthrieShe has been missing since disappearing from her residence four months ago.

One of those arrested, Alexander Zabel, who is associated with the Crime Network channel, was charged with two counts of obstructing a highway or public way and one count of public nuisance. He was arrested again on June 11 and faces charges of resisting arrest (Level 6 felony) and public nuisance (Level 2 misdemeanor).

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department reportedly issued a warning

Journalist Jonathan Lee Riches, who has been covering Guthrie’s case since her disappearance, revealed that he allegedly received a warning message indicating that he would face arrest if he returned to Guthrie’s community.

“I shared with the audience Pima County Sheriff I was told by the deputy (supporting us) that if I set foot in Nancy Guthrie’s neighborhood I would be arrested,” he said on social media this morning.

He later announced Zabel was released from the Pima County Detention Facility on Friday night.

Pima County issues alert to residents

Shortly thereafter, pima county The Sheriff’s Department issued a warning about a possible scam.

“The Pima County Sheriff’s Department reminds the public to be cautious when following or participating in social media pages, groups or accounts claiming to represent PCSD,” the Sheriff’s Department said. “To verify information, please follow our official channels, visit our official website or download the official PCSD application.”

A list of the department’s official social media channels is provided, followed by a statement that PCSD will never solicit sensitive personal information, payments or donations through unofficial social media accounts.

We encourage anyone who comes across suspicious pages, groups or accounts claiming to represent PCSD to report them directly to the relevant platform.
