“…that woman’s [Guthrie’s] The remains are located in the Mariposa area.”

Buscando Corazones Nogales is a volunteer organization that searches for missing people in Mexico.

It received a message from an anonymous caller. The caller said Guthrie’s body was buried in a grave near a creek in the Mariposa area northwest of Nogales, Sonora.

“We received an anonymous call telling us the woman’s [Guthrie’s] The remains were located in a grave above a creek in the Mariposa area. “

Ayala Ortiz told the news outlet that volunteers conducted a preliminary investigation based on the information provided. The search focused on terrain where the team had previously discovered 25 unmarked graves during earlier recovery operations.

The operation involved the Sonora State Commission for the Search of Missing Persons. City and state authorities are also providing safety support to volunteers working in remote areas.

“We started exploring the area and found the first four bodies; however, we saw signs that led us to believe there were more people buried there, so we shared the information with another group in the city that had recently reported several positive cases,” Ayala Ortiz said.

What do investigators know so far about Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance?

It has been more than four months since 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her home in the Catalina Foothills of Tucson, Arizona.

We still don’t know the exact circumstances of her disappearance. Despite video evidence of a suspect entering her home, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and FBI have not identified any suspects or possible leads.

Law enforcement agencies continue to seek information from the public. Savannah Guthrie and her family have been encouraging fans and the public to contact police if they have any relevant information.

The anonymous tip was one of several leads uncovered during the months-long investigation. Search organizers stressed that the latest information had not yet been confirmed. They said the unsuccessful operation did not rule out future searches in the same area.
