Long Beach fire report sparks fear among California residents: ‘Smoke-filled’

They said the alleged fire appeared to have occurred somewhere near Atlantic Third Avenue. california City. “What does that smell like,” the person further posted.

Others claimed they could see smoke. “Can smell and see smoke a few blocks north of the Atlantic Ocean,” one Reddit user wrote.

As time went on, more and more locals joined the conversation, despite the time of day. One concerned person wrote: “I just finished inspecting the Pacific West building.” Another added: “Dunno but the smell woke me up.”

Some even claim there is no smoke or fire, but an inversion layer. “I think it’s an inversion,” said the Reddit user. It is worth noting that an inversion layer is a phenomenon where warmer air covers cooler air. However, there is no way to confirm whether the person’s assumption is correct.
