On Tuesday, a tornado warning was issued for Phelps, Kearny and Harlan counties in Nebraska until 7:15 PM Central Time or 8:15 PM Eastern Time.

An ABC Channel 8 meteorologist shared the news about the tornado warning. “A Tornado Warning has been issued for Phelps, Kearny and Harlan Counties until 7:15 PM CT on Tuesday, June 9th. This storm is moving northeast at 50 mph and has the ability to produce tornadoes,” he wrote on Facebook. Maps of the affected areas were also shared.
Another person shared a photo of the storm and wrote “Current view of tornado warning of storm south of Kearney, Nebraska.” You can see images shared on X here. A video was also shared showing the severe weather conditions. A “severe storm” hit Kearney and a tornado warning remained in effect, according to the local radio station that posted the video.
