Second payment details

The second payment is now being sent out because some funds from the first round of checks that didn’t cash have been returned and are being reallocated. The second distribution is only available to those who have already submitted an application claim by the August 25, 2023 deadline.

If the user gets the first pay They will then automatically qualify for the second time without having to apply again. The second payment is expected to be smaller, around $5 to $7, as it will come from remaining funds. The second round of payments will begin on June 9, 2026 and last approximately four weeks.

Eligible users will receive an email reminder 3 to 4 days prior to payment with the subject line “Facebook User Privacy Settlement – Second Distribution.” Authorities are also warning users to beware of scams, saying fraudulent emails or messages may try to trick people by claiming to speed up settlement payments. Officials are making it clear: If you’re eligible, you’ve already filed a claim and likely received your first payment last year, as noted in Yahoo Finance’s report.
