The chicken finger chain has opened its first Western Washington restaurant in Seattle’s University District and announced a Lynwood location will open in June.
Lynwood, Wash. — Raising Cane’s, a Louisiana-based chicken finger chain, just opened A sensational debut in Seattle’s University District, Another location will open in Western Washington later this month.
The chain announced its new Lynnwood restaurant, which will feature a two-lane drive-thru, will open on June 23 at 1232 164th St. SW. The grand opening celebration will include giveaways where 20 customers will win a free Raising Cane for a year.
“Everything at Raising Cane’s restaurants is centered around our employees,” restaurant owner Tay Hicks said in a statement. “As we prepare to open our first restaurants in Washington and Lynwood, we’re excited to build a strong team passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Lynwood location will be the company’s fourth restaurant in Washington. Raising Cane’s will open its first state location in Vancouver in 2024, followed by Spokane in 2025 and Seattle’s University District in February 2026. The new Lynwood location is expected to employ more than 170 people.
There were previous plans to open an office in Renton, but the company told KING 5 in February 2025 that it had canceled those plans to focus on other opportunities in the area. The company has not ruled out future expansion to Renton.
Raising Cane’s has more than 800 locations nationwide.
