
The upper level low pressure system that brought us rain this week is moving northeast.
SEATTLE — A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for much of central and eastern Washington.
The National Weather Service has issued a warning for Cascade Falls in Washington state and 20 counties. It will remain in effect until midnight.

- asot
- Benton
- Chelan
- Colombia
- douglas
- ferry
- franklin
- Garfield
- Grant
- kititas
- Click
- Lincoln
- Okanogan
- Drop ears
- Spokane
- stevens
- Walla Walla
- whitman
- yakima
The National Weather Service offers the following safety tips: Find shelter in a sturdy building or car with a hard-top roof; avoid hilltops, open fields, tall trees and water; stay indoors for 30 minutes after hearing thunder.
The upper level low pressure system that brought us rain earlier this week continues to linger over California this week, but is far enough away not to affect our weather. However, it began to move east-northeast. With that comes a chance for rain and thunderstorms.
