Dolly Parton will be partnering with the Tennessee Travel Stop at one location next month, with plans to open more locations.
Nashville, Tenn. — Dolly Parton announced this week She’s bringing her newest venture to Tennessee: Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop, and plans to announce additional locations soon.
Parton is working with Tennessee Travel Stops to rebrand and renovate the chain’s flagship store in Cornersville. The station will reopen on June 24 as a Dolly Tennessee Travel Station with a focus on serving “family road trippers and truckers.” According to the travel station’s website.
Guests can relax, shop and dine in an area with a restaurant, café and BBQ facilities. There will be a dog park, fueling area for cars and 18-wheelers and a lounge for truckers. The tour stop also features event space, a main stage and a permanent mural commissioned for the location, which is a “love letter to Cornersville,” according to the website.
“A true gathering place for travelers and the local community, the tour stop is the first of many planned sites,” the site says. “Inspired by Dolly’s lifelong connection to the open road, from her childhood in the mountains of East Tennessee to her decades traveling the world by bus, this project reimagines what a roadside stop can look like.”
The tour stop also plans to highlight local Tennessee musicians and bands on its main stage.
Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop is located at Exit 22 on Interstate 65 in Cornersville, Tennessee, approximately one hour south of Nashville and one hour northwest of Huntsville.
Additional locations are expected to be announced in 2026.
