Two Auburn men shot, both in stable condition

An 18-year-old man and a 50-year-old man were shot and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.

AUBURN, Wash. — Two men are in stable condition after being shot in Auburn, according to the Auburn Police Department.

Valley Fire Department officers responded to an emergency call at a residence in the 3500 block of Orchard Place SE in Auburn for a 50-year-old man who was short of breath, had difficulty speaking, and coughing up blood. A fire medical evaluation confirmed he had a gunshot wound.

Police determined a shooting occurred at the residence and the man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.

Meanwhile, an 18-year-old man who also suffered a gunshot wound was driven to a nearby hospital.

Officials with the Auburn Police Department said investigators at the scene determined the two incidents were allegedly related and seized the vehicle because it contained evidence related to the shooting.

The 18-year-old man was also transported to Harborview Medical Center.

More information about the investigation will be released as it becomes available.
