Kent County police detectives are investigating a homicide and a car crash that left three men dead in two unrelated incidents.
KENT, Wash. — A 25-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning at a Kent County apartment complex. Kent Police.
Police, paramedics and firefighters responded to the Chandlers Bay Apartments in the 8700 block of South 235th Street around 3:59 a.m. after reports that a man suffered a gunshot wound.
Rescuers found the victim in the parking lot and began life-saving measures until medical personnel arrived. The man died on the spot.
Kent police detectives are investigating the homicide. The suspect has not been identified, but investigators said preliminary information indicates the shooting was an isolated incident.

Fatal car crash in Kent leaves 2 dead
In an unrelated incident around 1 a.m. Sunday, two men were killed when a car crashed into a utility pole and burst into flames in the 21800 block of South 68th Avenue, police said.
Police found the car completely engulfed in flames after it hit a utility pole. After the fire was extinguished, rescuers found two men, aged 38 and 44, dead in the car.
Witnesses told investigators the vehicle was traveling southbound and may have hit another vehicle before the crash.
