Douglas McCain died suddenly on May 20 at the age of 66, according to an online obituary.
Douglas McCain, a Navy pilot like his father before him, is remembered as a patriot and friend by many alumni of Senator John McCain’s institute, campaign and Senate staff.
“It is with great sadness that I share the news of the sudden passing of my brother Doug McCain. He was a truly wonderful, joyful man who supported me throughout my life. He brought humor, fun and joyful conversation to every room. I will cherish the memories we had together. Our prayers are with his wife Ashley and children Caroline and Shep.”
His cause of death has not yet been released.
