Gunshots heard near the White House

WASHINGTON — There are multiple reports of a series of shootings near the White House.

This report was published on Saturday, May 23, shortly after 6 p.m. ET.

Journalists claimed to have heard dozens of gunshots, with one saying they were told to run into the press room.
