A social media influencer has been accused of trying to hire someone to kill her daughter’s father, singer Jack Avery.
SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A Florida attorney, his influential daughter and her ex-boyfriend are facing charges in a murder-for-hire plot against the father of her child in California, officials said.

WTSP report Between 2020 and 2021, Gabriella is accused of enlisting the help of her then-boyfriend, 26-year-old Kai Faron Cordrey, to hire someone on the dark web to kill Avery, authorities said.
Around that time, her father, Francisco Gonzalez, 59, reportedly sent Corddry $10,000 as an advance to find, hire and pay Avery’s murderer.
Francisco is a well-known civil trial attorney in Seminole County, Florida, according to a report from Seminole County, Florida WESH TV.
Court documents obtained by the news outlet said Francisco was “deeply involved” in the domestic conflict. Witnesses also described the Gonzalez family as “obsessed with having full custody.”
A witness also told the outlet that Francisco had previously said “everything would be cheaper if Avery was dead” and described him as “the main force behind the family hostilities”.
Two months later, Cordray asked Francisco for an additional $4,000 and received additional funds from the killer, investigators said. Days later, he allegedly demanded that Avery be killed within days.
In September 2021, Los Angeles officials said an undercover law enforcement officer posing as a hitman talked to Corddry about a murder-for-hire plot.
Cordray reportedly told the undercover officer that Avery was the target and discussed payments and death certificates.
In another conversation, Cordray is accused of telling the killer that Gabriella wanted the murder to happen and Francisco could pay for it.
Gabriella was arrested and Appear in California court on Tuesday. Her arraignment has been postponed to Thursday, May 21.
Francisco was arrested in Florida and is awaiting extradition to California.
All three suspects face one count each of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and solicitation to commit murder. If convicted, all three face 25 years to life in state prison.
“This was a lengthy FBI-initiated investigation that was ultimately handed over to our office and criminal charges were filed today,” Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said in a statement. “In this case, the defendant is accused of going to great lengths to find someone to murder. Most fathers raise their children with respect for the law, but what we have here is a father who allegedly helped his daughter and her boyfriend break the law in the most sinister way imaginable.”
