Deputies said a passenger side mirror found at the scene may help identify the vehicle.
NORTH BAY, Wash. — The King County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a black Jeep believed to have seriously injured a bicyclist in a hit-and-run incident in North Bay.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on May 9 near Southeast 140th Street and Southeast 463rd Avenue.
Troopers said the cyclist was riding on the south shoulder of Southeast 140th Street when he was struck by the passenger side mirror of a car.
After the crash, the vehicle traveled eastbound and left the scene, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators believe the vehicle is a 2024-2026 black Jeep Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer.
A right passenger side mirror was found at the scene and is believed to be missing from the vehicle.
