
A motorcyclist died in an alleged felony hit-and-run on Interstate 5 near Nisqually, the Washington State Patrol reported.
A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on southbound Interstate 5 near Nisqually just after 3 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.
Police responded to the scene of the accident 113 miles south of Nisqually and found the bicyclist in critical condition. The motorcyclist was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said drivers should expect delays in the area as the investigation continues.
Investigators are treating the collision as a felony hit-and-run, according to WSP Trooper Kameron Watts. No further details about the suspect vehicle or the circumstances leading up to the collision were immediately released.
