
The grocery chain has more than two dozen locations in Western Washington and is about to open its first location in Woodinville.
WOODINVILLE, Wash. — Trader Joe’s is opening soon Woodinville location on Friday.
The grocery store, located in the Woodinville Plaza shopping center near Northeast 175th Street and Northeast 140th Avenue, will open at 9 a.m.
The grand opening celebration included a ribbon cutting, free samples and giveaway tote bags.
This is the first Trader Joe’s grocery store in Woodinville.
In March, the chain announced plans open another location Near Seattle’s North Gate. However, an opening date has not yet been determined.
Trader Joe’s has nearly 30 stores in Western Washington. The most recent store opened in Lacey in November 2025. Trader Joe’s also opened a new Seattle store in the Greenwood neighborhood in April and a new store in Bellingham last May.
