Fly By Jing is recalling some batches of its Creamy Sesame Noodles due to possible contact with peanuts, posing a life-threatening risk to those with allergies.
WASHINGTON — Fly By Jing is voluntarily recalling some select Creamy Sesame Noodles after it was discovered the product may have been exposed to peanuts during the manufacturing process.
The Los Angeles-based brand is best known for its chili chips and other condiments.
Peanuts are not an ingredient in the noodles. The company said a third-party manufacturer produces the product on shared equipment that also processes peanuts, potentially introducing allergens into the affected packaging. For people with peanut allergies, consuming this product may trigger a serious or life-threatening reaction.
The recall affects single and four-pack packaging and has three best-by dates: October 15, 2026; December 6, 2026; March 23, 2027 – which can be found on the back or bottom of the packaging.
The products were sold nationwide from February 1 to May 8, 2026, through retail stores such as Whole Foods and Thrive Market, and directly through the company’s website. Fly By Jing said it has stopped distribution of the affected batches, notified retail partners, and suspended remaining inventory.
The company said it has also implemented additional allergen control procedures with manufacturers to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. Other Fly By Jing noodle flavors or sauce products are not affected.
Consumers with peanut allergies should stop using the recalled products immediately. Anyone who purchased the affected noodles can return it to the point of purchase for a full refund.
