Tumwater, Wash. — A new costco Might be coming to Thurston County.
The retailer plans to open a new, larger store in Tumwater, near Interstate 5 and Tumwater Boulevard, according to city records.
The project will bring a 158,000-square-foot warehouse, approximately 23,000 square feet larger than the existing Tumwater store at 5500 Littlerock Road SW.
The proposal calls for more than 1,000 parking spaces on the 55-acre site.
Company officials will meet with city leaders Thursday to discuss pre-application steps as part of the development review process.
