
The Washington State Patrol said troopers were responding to a crash involving a school bus carrying 40 to 50 children.
SEATTLE — A school bus carrying 40 to 50 children was involved in a crash on southbound Interstate 5 near Northgate Way on Tuesday, according to the Washington State Patrol.
No injuries were reported, Officer Rick Johnson said.
The crash occurred near milepost 173 north of Northgate Way, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision blocked the left general purpose lane and HOV lane of southbound Interstate 5.
Johnson said police were on their way to the scene. A bus mechanic was also on the way.
Johnson said the bus was from the Lakewood School District.
