University of Wisconsin police investigate homicide in off-campus student housing

SEATTLE — The University of Washington Police Department is searching for a suspect in an apparent homicide in a residence hall on Sunday night. According to the university.

At about 10:20 p.m., police responded to the Nordheim Court Apartments, an off-campus student dormitory, for reports of a death. University of Washington police said the incident is being investigated as a homicide.

The suspect is described as a man 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a slim build, black hair and a beard. Police said he may have been wearing a button-down shirt, a dark blue tank top and blue jeans.

If you see the suspect, call 911.

Police urged apartment residents to stay indoors and lock their doors and windows.

Officials did not provide any details about the victims.
