
A multi-county chase that began with an armed carjacking in Woodinville resulted in a crash with three suspects still at large.
WOODINVILLE, Wash. — An armed carjacking in Woodinville on Sunday sparked a multi-county pursuit and multiple crashes, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Troopers said a car was hijacked at gunpoint in Woodinville and another vehicle was stolen in Monroe. When an officer spotted three suspicious vehicles, the drivers quickly fled and spread out.
One of the cars crashed in Bellevue; the driver fled and was not captured, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The second vehicle crashed and was abandoned in Pierce County. The suspect has not yet been found.
Washington State Patrol found a third vehicle crashed and the suspect has not yet been found.
At some point during the chase, a Snohomish County deputy’s patrol car was struck.
It’s unclear how many people were injured in the incident, but Bellevue police told KING 5 some victims were transported to local hospitals. No one was seriously injured.
