Clips of the moment quickly flooded social media, prompting widespread reactions.The victory marked Zalmi’s second PSL title and their first since 2017. While Babar has been part of the PSL title-winning side before, this is his first win as captain.All-rounder Aaron Hardie was the standout performer in the final. He performed well with the ball, taking 4 for 27, to help Hyderabad Kings post a score of 129 in the 18th over. He then completed a brilliant display with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 56 as Zalmi chased down the target in just 15.2 overs to seal the emphatic victory.Despite suffering a rare defeat in the final – falling for a golden duck – Babar ended up becoming the run-scoring leader of the tournament. In 11 games, he scored a total of 588 runs at an average of 73.50, including 3 fifties and 2 centuries, scoring a whopping 145.90.
