Meskay & Femtee Trading Company, Hunan Tea Group and Jiaolong International Technology signed the third memorandum of understanding to promote cooperation in all areas of the industry, support the development of the tea industry in both countries, and strengthen economic, trade and cultural ties.
The MoU was signed by Senator Saleem Mandviwalla on the Pakistani side, and on the Chinese side by Zhou Chongwang, Chairman of Hunan Tea Group, and Hao Jiaolong, Chairman of Hainan Jiaolong International Trade Technology Co., Ltd.
Federal MP Navid Kamal, Sindh Chief Secretary Syed Asif Haider Shah and Pakistan Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi were also present at the event.
Separately, President Zardari presented the Pakistan Sitala Award to Professor Pan Xiangbin in Changsha “in recognition of his contribution to cardiac care, including the treatment of children with congenital heart disease in Pakistan and the training of local medical professionals,” the president said.
President Zardari arrived in China on Saturday for a week-long visit to Hunan and Hainan provinces to conduct economic and trade cooperation-related activities.
