Angkrish Raghuvanshi’s dismissal became one of the most controversial moments of IPL 2026 as Kolkata Knight Riders’ battle with Lucknow Supergiants deepened.Raghuvansh came on after a shaky start to try and stabilize the innings, but his stay ended in unusual fashion as he was dismissed for obstructing the pitch.
The incident occurred when Prince Yadav was serving, Raghuvansh pushed the ball towards the middle and started a quick single. Sent back mid-way, he dived to set his feet as the ball came in. The ball hit him on the way, triggering an appeal Mohammad Shami. After review, the third referee ruled that Raghuvansh had altered his line of running, resulting in the ejection.This decision did not go down well with the KKR camp.
