Another student, Nahida S. Bristy Disappeared with Limon. The two 27-year-old men from Bangladesh were last seen about a week ago.
Limon’s body was found Friday morning on the Howard Frankland Bridge in Tampa, Florida. While officials have not yet confirmed Bristi’s whereabouts, her brother Zahid Hasan Pranto posted on Facebook, “my sister is no longer with us“.
Planto told NBC News that the two students had been romantically involved in the past. However, they are not actively dating.

According to NBC News, law enforcement said Abuhabiya was arrested after a domestic violence incident at his residence on Friday, April 24. Video shared by police on Facebook showed Abouhabi emerging from a house, shirtless and with his hands raised, before armed police officers appeared to order him into a car.
“Detectives are actively pursuing investigative leads in the area surrounding the Howard Frankland Bridge, where Limon’s remains were located,” the post read.
Chief Deputy Joseph Maurer said the Sheriff’s Office received a domestic violence call at the suspect’s home around 9 a.m. local time on Friday.
When deputies arrived, they asked the suspect to come out. The family at home managed to get out safely. After 20 minutes, a SWAT team had to be called to the scene because the suspect refused.
The SWAT team also asked the suspect to come out. He was detained after the incident.
“This is a deeply disturbing case that has shocked our community and impacted many who were hoping for a safe resolution,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “While the discovery of Zamir Limon’s remains is heartbreaking, I want the public to know that our detectives have been working tirelessly to uncover the truth. We will continue to follow every fact, pursue every lead, and use every tool at our disposal to hold those responsible fully accountable. Our thoughts are with the families of Zamir Limon and Nahida Bristi during this time.”
Abugharbieh is not a current student at USF and will be enrolled from spring 2021 to spring 2023, the school said. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in management.
Maurer said Abuhabiya faces charges of domestic violence, simple battery, false imprisonment, tampering with evidence, failure to report a death and unlawful possession or removal of a corpse.
