Darrell Sheets often shares his thoughts on current events, and he has mentioned Donald Trump on social media more than once over the years.
In February 2017, Sheets made a joke about Trump shortly after he became president. He posted on X,
“Well yes I was a trendsetter and now Trump is copying me #storagewars…”
By March 2018, his tone became more serious. When talking directly to Trump, He wrote:
“Sir, the best part about being our leader is when it’s all over, hang in there, you were just cleaning the bottom of a very dirty aquarium.”

Sheets then shared a more supportive message. He wrote:

What do we know about his death?
According to TMZ, police in Lake Havasu, Arizona, arrived at Sheets’ home at about 2 a.m. local time after receiving reports of a death, and Sheets later died. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the cause of death was apparently a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. His body was taken to the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Sheets has faced health issues in the past, including a heart attack in March 2019 that required hospitalization and surgery, TMZ reported.
However, officials added that the case remains under investigation.
