“I can’t open any templates. When I actually use the design, it always goes to a 404 error page,” one user wrote. Another added “Others are getting error codes: [9f087dba98eb424f-EWR]? when they open a design”. Another person said “Can’t get into any of my designs or create custom size templates…”.
DownDetector shows that most people are experiencing issues with the website, with a complaint ratio of 71. Some people are also facing app and login issues.

It’s unclear what caused the outage and Canva has not yet commented on the matter.
How to solve Canva issues?
Some users complained that Canva encountered various issues during the outage. Depending on the issue, there are some fixes you can try on the user side.
Error code: [9f087dba98eb424f-EWR]: This usually indicates an outage between your browser/application and Canva’s servers. People can try to resolve this issue by refreshing the page, using incognito mode, logging out and back in, clearing the browser cache and disabling extensions, and turning off hardware acceleration. Can also be disabled VPN Or proxy, switch networks and flush DNS cache to see if it works.

“The design cannot be opened” error: People can try to resolve this issue by refreshing the page, clearing browser cache/cookies, or switching to incognito mode. Additionally, one can check the internet, restart the application/browser, check for browser updates.
Internet connection lost error: One can try to fix the following issues by checking the internet stability and refreshing the page. If that doesn’t work, you can turn off the VPN, clear your browser cache/cookies, or try incognito/private mode.

404 error: This usually means the work is unpublished, the link is broken, or DNS changes are being processed. Some ways to resolve this issue include republishing the Canva site, waiting up to 72 hours for the domain to propagate, checking that the URL is correct, or relinking the domain in settings.
However, given the widespread nature of the outage, a user-side fix is unlikely to yield results.
Complaints about Canva outages
Many people took to social media to complain about the Canva outage. “I woke up at 3:30 in the morning to work on customs. Now Canva is down,” one of them said commented. other additional “Shit, Canva is down again, what am I going to do with my presentation now?”
