New Delhi: The accused in connection with the murder of an IRS officer’s daughter was arrested by Delhi Police on Wednesday, news agency ANI reported. He was traced to a hotel in Dwarka and detained.The 22-year-old woman was found murdered in south Delhi’s Amar Colony area. Investigators suspect she was strangled, possibly with a cellphone charging cord recovered from the scene.According to Delhi Police, the main suspect Rahul initially absconded, prompting multiple teams to conduct raids. During the course of the investigation, police arrived at his residence in Alwar and discovered that he was suspected of being involved in an indecent incident there the day before the murder.A senior police officer said the incident was reported on Wednesday when her parents were out for a walk. Suspected house help entered the residence and killed the woman. “He was recently fired,” police said.
