In a video posted by Fox News on FBI system and whether he expressed concerns about being fired.

Patel immediately questioned the framing of the question and disputed the claims.

“The problem with you and your baseless report is that it’s an absolute lie,” Patel said, interrupting the inquiry. He continued to insist the allegations cited were false and said the issue “never occurred” and was not communicated to him at any time.

“The simple answer to your question is: you’re lying,” he added in the exchange, insisting he would remain in his role as long as he had the support of senior leadership.

Communication upgrade

Tensions were further heightened as Patel objected to being interrupted while speaking and repeatedly asked to complete his answers.

“You ask the question and let me answer it,” he said before criticizing reporters for their behavior at the briefing.

At one point, he added that such questioning distracted from what he said were more substantive topics discussed during the meeting, including discussion of unrelated investigations.

Patel also said, “I have never been locked out of my system. Anyone who says otherwise is lying,” reiterating his denial of the core claim.

While Patel has denied the allegations made in the exchange, the video itself provides no further clarification on the allegations.
