Their latest setback was a humiliating defeat against Kings XI Punjab, further denting their playoff hopes.Even though the batting unit has names like Mitchell Marsh; Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pullanalways trying to maintain consistency. Pooran, in particular, was in poor form, scoring just 51 runs in six innings at a below-par strike rate.Inglis’ arrival could help rebalance the team’s lineup, especially since LSG haven’t consistently fielded a fourth overseas player. His aggressive approach to batting and ability to speed up the innings make him a valuable addition in the final stages of the game. The Australian had an impressive season with Punjab Kings in the 2025 IPL season, scoring 278 runs at a strike rate of 162.57, including a century, before being released ahead of the auction.Meanwhile, LSG were also hit by the departures.
