A 38-year-old triathlete Brazil Died while participating in an event Texas Saturday’s triathlon. She reportedly drowned during a 2.5-mile swim through the open water of Lake Woodland.

Authorities did not release the identity of the athlete. Ironman Texas said in a social media update that a competitor died during Saturday’s race. Araujo’s sister, Melissa Araujo, confirmed Araujo died during the game.
