According to the publication, the problem began when he encountered login failures while trying to access internal FBI systems. “Drinking Problem”

The report also cited multiple current and former officials as saying that Kash Patel had been concerned that his position was “in jeopardy.” Meanwhile, President Donald Trump fired Kristi Noem and Tulsi Gabbard from high-profile positions.

The Atlantic’s sources said this anxiety was partly related to his behavior within the bureau, describing him as “erratic, suspicious of others, and prone to jumping to conclusions without sufficient evidence.”

Among the accusations detailed in the report were allegations about Patel’s drinking habits, which sources said was a “recurring issue across the administration.”

Officials said he was seen drunk at establishments in Washington, D.C., sometimes in the presence of administrative staff. They also allege that some FBI meetings were rescheduled late at night, making it difficult for security personnel to reach him in some cases.

In an unrelated reaction post to the new reports about Patel, Alexis Wilkins amplified claims that Russian media is pushing propaganda against the United States. The original post was referring to a viral video of Defense Secretary (Secretary of War) Pete Hegseth “quoting fake Bible verses.”

“We are in the middle of a propaganda war. The video of Pete Hegseth ‘quoting fake Bible verses’ in Pulp Fiction is another example. The original post came from Russian media and was then amplified by a Turkish psycho account until it was picked up by major American media outlets. It does not include the additional context of what Hegseth said was his ‘poor interpretation of Ezekiel,'” Glenn Beck wrote on the X (formerly Twitter) platform.

“External forces are using social media to stoke anger among the American people. Wake up. War isn’t just in the Middle East. It’s in your hands every time you open social media.”

Wilkins retweeted the post.
